This is a hybrid feminised cannabis seed variety with an exceptionally sweet and fruity terpene profile. The full elongated buds are covered in a white sticky blanket of resin and trichomes.
Candy Bubatz XL will in most cases grow into a medium to large plant with strong branches and thick flowers. These powerful cannabis plants therefore provide a genuine XXL yield.
This THC-rich variety has an average THC level of around 17-19% The high is very relaxing and pleasant. The hybrid effects are a combination of a nice Sativa 'up-high' and a slightly narcotic Indica ‘body-stone'.

Candy Bubatz XL has a unique terpene profile that is mainly sweet and fruity, both in smell and taste. If you like sweet 'bubblegum' chewing gum, or those fruity, sour (Haribo-style) bears, then you will love this strain! The fruity, sweet candy character is sometimes accompanied by strong sour notes. During the cannabis flowering phase, the scent development can be experienced as quite intense.

Candy Bubatz XL is a nice hybrid cannabis strain with roughly equal amounts of Indica and Sativa genes. This is reflected in the plants and this 50/50 hybrid is therefore both strong and resilient. She has good growth vigour and a very high yield. She is easy to grow and develops beautiful white, full buds with a commercial appearance. Rich in terpenes and with beautiful bag appeal.
These feminised photoperiod cannabis seeds were created by crossing an old-school Bubble Gum clone with Dutch Passion's well-known cannabis cup-winning Critical Orange Punch parent. This combination provides the extremely sweet and fruity terpene profile.
The goal of this crossing was to create a very sweet cannabis variety that will remind you of the days when you were a kid in a candy store! Bubble gum, chewing gum, fruity bears, sour sweets - what will it be? Well, this strain has it all!
Her THC levels are typically medium to high, around 15-20%. When grown in the right conditions this can reach just over 20%. But in general, most plants will end up around the 17-19% THC range.
During flowering this plant can stretch quite a bit, on average between 2-3x (in optimal conditions) her original height from the moment she is put on a 12/12 cannabis light cycle in an indoor grow. There are usually 2 dominant phenotypes. One of these plants is a little smaller but more branchy. The other grows a bit taller, but both have a consistently high yield with nice full blooms and a good layer of resin. The buds of Candy Bubatz XL tend to have a relatively short internodal distance. This means that the buds can grow together nicely.
The plant structure is best described as medium to large, with good branching. The leaves are of a hybrid structure in which both the Indica and Sativa characteristics are clearly visible.
The plants are best grown indoors, but she can also thrive outdoors (in good conditions) and provide very large plants with a high XXL yield.
Candy Bubatz XL is an easy-to-grow cannabis strain suitable for both beginners and experts. It is not difficult to achieve a very large yield with her.
Candy Bubatz XL has an enjoyable yet powerful hybrid high. In an average of 9 weeks, Candy Bubatz XL will flower into a beautiful cannabis plant with extremely white sticky buds. In terms of stature she is usually a relatively larger plant, with many strong branches and large continuous blooms.
Due to her strong genes, she is easy to cultivate, she grows fast and always provides a high yield. Normally with 11L pots you will get a plant of 80-100cm (~3ft) after a month of veg pre-growth from cannabis seed, depending on the growing conditions and equipment used.
Some phenotypes will need a week longer in bloom in less-than-optimal conditions. This also applies to outdoor cultivation. That is why Dutch Passion only recommend this strain for cultivation in warmer and drier, preferably Mediterranean-style, climates. Places where the sun shines a lot, and the temperature is higher.
Because of her strong, stiff branches this strain can do well in a natural grow, but because of her relatively strong stretch period during flowering she is also well suited for a SCROG grow. Fimming and topping can be used as growing techniques if you do not want the plant to grow too tall.
If you grow this feminised photoperiod strain indoors under good quality LED lights, you can expect weed of the highest quality. When grown well, you can expect about 500 to 650 grams/m² (16+oz per square yard). The plants grow with remarkable strength and are very productive.
Especially when it comes to resin production! Buds are completely covered with a thick layer of beautiful crystals and trichomes with large heads. In general, this strain has an average flowering time of about 9 weeks.
Outdoors, she normally needs 1 to (max) 2 weeks longer to fully ripen and she is usually a fantastic yielder. Especially in a dry, sunny climate! She can reach a maximum height of 3-4m (10-13ft) during an outdoor grow. Large outdoor harvests of half a kilo to a kilo (17-34oz) of dry cannabis buds are therefore certainly possible. We challenge all growers to achieve a harvest of 1 kilo from 1 plant!
